Adam Dicterow is the editor of award winning films In the Summers and Mutt

Working under his mentor Anne McCabe, ACE, for seven years, he utilized his creativity, adaptability and invaluable technical skills, and climbed from apprentice editor to additional editor. Adam has had the privilege of collaborating with many accomplished directors, including Marielle Heller (on Can you Ever Forgive me?, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, and What the Constitution Means to Me), Robin Wright (on Land), and Stephen Chbosky (on Dear Evan Hansen). He has also worked on multiple television shows, most notably HBO’s Succession (season one). Adam worked with Vuk Lungulov-Klotz on Mutt, which ended up winning an award for acting at Sundance 2023, a special mention at Berlinale. Adam also cut Alessandra Lacorazza’s In the Summers, which won the U.S Dramatic Grand Jury Prize as well as the directing award at Sundance 2024, and was up for two Indie Spirit Awards. 

More recently, he has been cutting A24’s Misty Green, written, directed by Chris Rock, starring (alongside him) Roselind Eleazar, Daniel Kaluuya, Adam Driver, Anna Kendrick. And Topher Grace. Adam has gained experience traversing various genres from drama and dark comedy to horror.  A New York City native, Adam currently resides in Brooklyn.
